About the book

Sweeties, by Leon Silver (October 2016, Lacuna, ISBN 9781922198266, 150 pages, RRP $22.95)

Sweeties is a novel about what makes up a life, and those big crossroad decision-making moments that can change a life forever. Silver’s protagonist Abel is not always likeable – his life is made up of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ decisions, like all of our lives, and Abel’s reflections remind us it’s never too late to provide a full account of ourselves.
