Please join authors Elizabeth Manning Murphy and Hilary Cadman at the launch of the second, much updated edition of Effective writing: plain English at work. The first edition has been selling in various forms for 25 years – it was time for an update of guidance for writers in the workplace, working these days on emails, web pages and text messages, but remembering the basics of good writing and effective style.
The special guest speaker is Jack Waterford, an award-winning journalist, who has worked primarily for The Canberra Times where he is now Editor-at-Large. Jack is a regular columnist for Eureka Street and commentator on politics for ABC radio.
